Pilot Fishes

Performative Arts duo Pilot Fishes relies on me for artwork, random graphic trinkets and branding their performances. In turn, I get to practice my dance moves.

Siberian Trombinoscope

For “Siberian Trombinoscope”, I spent a day capturing the performers’ emotions and translating these into various compositions. A custom typographic logo (shown here) was drawn and is used for representation in theaters.

To gain online traction, I developed a slot machine, rotating the headshots. Hitting a successful match would lead the player to a hidden page on Pilot Fishes’ website.

(I wish I had come up with the name.)

SOLOS

Two solo pieces, brought together. The work inspired me to draw an ambigram. The ambigram, of course, retaining meaning when interpreted from a different direction, perspective, or orientation. Like a duo doing solos.

Principal photography for this work was provided by Lise Gaudaire.
